Dick Decker...sounds like a surf guitarist...who IS this guy? I can now tell you two things about Dick Decker, he was originally from New York State, and moved to Arizona, where the racin' was good, and in this picture, the car's for sale...check out the "For Sale" sign taped to the side. *News Flash!* In January of 2007 I received this email. "Hello, My Dad Dick Decker
is on Awful Altereds page 11. It says Who IS this guy? He's not a surfer
we are from New York. Where he street raced for many years until the first
track was built. He raced for years at Englishtown, Till we moved to Chandler
Az.in the early 70's . Drove a AA Altered and was known as tricky Dick.
The for sale sign on the car , was not actually because the car was for
sale. He had division numbers painted on the side of the car that he was
hiding. LOL. He did sell the car years after that. Then he was the crew
chief for Johnny West on the Plan A car and the crew chief for Jimmy West
on the Wild Wild West car( funny car). He still works in racing , kind
of, with another former driver Mark Niver, they make and design parts
